THE LEGACY PROJECT
SOLEY COVE AUGUST 21-22 2021
The Legacy Project looks to honour the work and activities of Red Clay Farm and it's creator, Tom Young. Red Clay Farm has touched many hearts over the last two decades, as host and producer of artist residencies, performance events, CSA food boxes, and the White Rabbit Arts Residency and Festival. A community of collaborators connected through these shared experiences are coming together to create a multidisciplinary outdoor arts event on the Bay of Fundy in August 21 & 22, 2021.
Audiences will move in groups of 12 through the outdoor coastal landscape of Soley Cove. On their journey, audiences will experience installations, performances, and invitations to join in shared experience and action, reflecting on themes of legacy, community, and spiritual DNA. An audio track will guide audiences and provide an overarching container for the event.
The Legacy Project is a 90 mins walking tour of the Soley Cove landscape, in Economy NS. Audiences can expect to walk approximately 1.2-1.5 KM, and should wear appropriate footwear.
Folks are encourages to sign up for a timeslot with their community bubbles. There may be other people as part of your group, or you may see others as you walk the site; folks are encouraged to maintain social distance, as needed.
Your guided journey will start at the end of Soley Cove Rd
