2012 Black Rabbit

Black Rabbit celebrates art and community through a month full of playful wintertime art events in the spirit of White Rabbit, a week-long summer arts residency in Upper Economy, Nova Scotia. Funds raised during Black Rabbit support White Rabbit.

2012′s Black Rabbit festival included a month-long curated exhibit at the Eyelevel Gallery entitled “Light and Darkness;” practical workshops for artists; full moon karoke; a cardboard-costumed community awards celebration; and a fundraising art auction featuring work by past participants in the White Rabbit residency program.

Events were hosted by the Eyelevel Gallery.

Many thanks to Black Rabbit volunteers, artists, and sponsors for creating a hilarious and fun month full of events. Black Rabbit is pleased to have raised $1000 for this year’s White Rabbit summer programming.
